Responsibilities
- Service existing and new clients in retirement plan administration, including a full range of administrative and operational support services to a variety of clients and plan participants
- Effectively explain plan designs, policies, and procedures; and address questions to ensure our clients fully understand their individualized plans
- Research and resolve distribution and technical issues
- Work with team members and members of other departments to handle plan administration tasks and projects
- Troubleshoot problems encountered in day-to-day operations
- Maintain the participant/sponsor/advisor web portals and corresponding login credentials
- Provide reports and data files to clients and internal teams when necessary
- Research and resolve system and technical issues
- Complete special projects and reports, as assigned, in an accurate and timely manner
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree from a 4-year college required. Candidates with a degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Math or similar fields are useful in this role.
- Candidates who have experience with Sungard/FIS Relius are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Customer support experience through phone and e-mail is preferred.
- Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively interface with clients.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite. Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills is required.
- Meticulous attention to detail is vital for this position.
- Desire to function as part of a team with the ability to self-motivate to meet client demands.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
