Maintain Your Plan Document Without Per-Event Costs
A retirement plan’s governing document is not a set-it-and-forget-it item. Tax law changes, regulatory updates, and IRS restatement cycles all require plan documents to be updated on a regular basis. Additionally, as company needs change, amendments may be beneficial. How you handle those updates has real cost implications for plan sponsors.
RPG offers an optional Document Maintenance Program that covers ongoing plan document work for a low and predictable quarterly fee.
The Program Includes
Preparation and delivery of all IRS-required plan restatements within the applicable remedial amendment cycle
Interim amendments required by legislative or regulatory changes, including SECURE 1.0, SECURE 2.0, and future IRS-mandated statutory updates
Discretionary amendments requested by the plan sponsor
IRS opinion letter reliance coordination for pre-approved plan documents
What’s Not Included
The program covers IRS pre-approved plan documents only. It does not include individually designed plan documents, legal opinions, IRS or DOL audit representation, or document work related to plan mergers, spin-offs, or terminations.
